La Redazione di RecenserieLa stagione dei premi si apre con un protagonista assoluto: Severance, la serie Apple TV+, conquista ben 27 nomination agli Emmy 2025, diventando il titolo più candidato dell’anno.
Alle sue spalle troviamo The Penguin con 24 candidature, inclusa quella a Colin Farrell. Seguono The White Lotus e la novità comedy The Studio, entrambe con 23 nomination. Tra le sorprese più apprezzate c’è The Pitt che ha segnato il ritorno in grande stile di Noah Wyle, ora candidato come miglior attore in una serie drammatica dopo 26 anni.
Storica la prima nomination agli Emmy per Harrison Ford, oggi 83enne, riconosciuto per il suo ruolo nella comedy Shrinking. Restano invece fuori nomi eccellenti come Elisabeth Moss e Patrick Schwarzenegger, mentre tra le attrici spiccano Kathy Bates, Britt Lower e Bella Ramsey.
Nelle limited series, a guidare la sfida è Adolescence, produzione britannica che ha sorpreso pubblico e critica, affiancata da The Penguin, Monsters, Black Mirror e Dying for Sex.
A livello di network, HBO Max domina con 142 nomination, mentre Apple TV+ continua a crescere come riferimento di qualità. La cerimonia di premiazione si terrà il 14 settembre 2025 a Los Angeles.
