Widow’s Bay, The Pitt e DTF St. Louis sono le tre grandi vincitrici degli Emmy Awards 2026. La 78ª edizione ha premiato rispettivamente la miglior comedy, il miglior drama e la miglior limited series, ma la notte di Los Angeles ha prodotto anche diversi record.
Widow’s Bay, recensita da Recenserie fin dal pilot, ha chiuso l’intera edizione con 14 Emmy su 19 nomination, il maggior numero mai ottenuto da una comedy in un singolo anno. Matthew Rhys ha inoltre vinto sia come protagonista comedy per Widow’s Bay sia come protagonista di una limited series per The Beast in Me, diventando il primo interprete a conquistare due Emmy da protagonista nella stessa edizione.
The Pitt si conferma invece miglior drama, con Noah Wyle premiato per il secondo anno consecutivo. Rhea Seehorn conquista finalmente l’Emmy da protagonista per Pluribus, mentre Jean Smart vince ancora per Hacks.

WIDOW’S BAY È LA SERIE PIÙ PREMIATA DEGLI EMMY 2026
Considerando anche i Creative Arts Emmy, Widow’s Bay chiude con 14 vittorie su 19 nomination. Oltre al premio per la miglior comedy, durante la cerimonia principale sono arrivati quelli a Matthew Rhys, Kate O’Flynn, Stephen Root, Hiro Murai e Katie Dippold.
Recenserie aveva analizzato tutte le nomination degli Emmy 2026, quando The Pitt guidava il gruppo con 25 candidature e Hacks aveva stabilito il record di 24 nomination per una comedy. Alla fine, però, la serata è diventata soprattutto quella di Widow’s Bay.
Apple TV chiude inoltre gli Emmy 2026 come piattaforma più premiata con 28 statuette complessive, trascinata proprio da Widow’s Bay e Pluribus.
