L’81ª edizione dei Golden Globe Awards, tenutasi il 7 gennaio 2024 al prestigioso Beverly Hilton Hotel in California, ha visto emergere un grande vincitore della serata: Oppenheimer.
Oppenheimer ha spiccato tra tutti portando a casa ben cinque Golden Globe mentre Barbie ha ottenuto due premi. Altri film degni di nota includono Anatomy Of A Fall, The Holdovers e Poor Things, ognuno dei quali ha ricevuto due riconoscimenti nelle rispettive categorie.
Tuttavia, non tutti sono usciti a testa alta dalla cerimonia. Il regista Martin Scorsese ha dovuto fare i conti con la delusione legata a Killers Of The Flower Moon, mentre lo studio cinematografico A24 ha visto scivolare via l’opportunità di vittoria con Past Lives e The Zone Of Interest. Bradley Cooper con Maestro, May December e Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse, hanno dovuto affrontare il ritorno a casa senza premi.
Nel panorama delle serie televisive, Succession ha conquistato la scena con ben quattro vittorie, mostrando la sua continua popolarità e riconoscimento. A seguire, The Bear e Beef si sono aggiudicate rispettivamente tre premi ciascuna.
Non sono mancate le delusioni anche nel mondo delle serie TV. The Last Of Us, Only Murders In The Building e le stagioni finali di Ted Lasso e The Crown hanno terminato la serata a mani vuote nonostante l’attesa e l’entusiasmo che hanno suscitato tra il pubblico.
